Political opponents suffer a discrediting campaign and are not allowed to attend political meetings.

Osmel is an activist, one day he was meeting with other opponents in Havana, they were reading poetry peacefully and demanding the release of Dennis Solis and other political prisoners. While there, they were victims of verbal and physical aggressions, acts of repudiation and were forcibly removed to their respective places of residence. After this event, they decided to go on hunger strike to show their dissatisfaction with the regime and the violence they had experienced. Subsequently, they were victims of a discrediting campaign about the intentions of their actions, this promoted by the mass media of the officials; this campaign reached the point that since then they have been victims of repression, as they are not allowed to attend meetings, this through perimeter closures in the places where they live, so that they can not go.
