In the afternoon, on 17 November 2020, an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), Roberto González Guzmán, was detained by National Revolutionary Police (PNR) officials, Captain Gianny Clape Rodríguez and Major Bryan Torres Hurgelles. The detention took place based on a complain that the activist was criticizing the above-mentioned official Torres Hurgelles. The officials Torres Hurgelles and Clape Rodríguez kept the activist more than two hours under interrogation and threats. Eventually, they gave him an official warning for spreading false testimonies against the PNR officials. The activist refused to sign the document.
