Human rights activist prevented from leaving Cuba

On Thursday, 29 August, Anna Zamora Carmenate was prevented from boarding the plane at 10:45 pm going to Europe where she was invited for an event discussing gender issues. According to the custom officers working at the Terminal 3 of the José Martí International Airport in Havana, she is temporarily restricted from leaving the country. It has already been for the third time she was deprived of her right to leave the country.
