An activist Alexander Chacón Lamoth was going to participate in a protest march demanding the release of political prisoners and the end of political repression against activists. When he left his house at 6 am, he was detained by police and several State Security officials. They beat him, put him in the patrol car and took him to the police station. He was threatened and given an official warning which he refused to sign. He was released at 2 pm.
