A human rights activist from Guantánamo intimidated by a State Security official during a baseball match

On 19 September 2019, a human rights activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), Henry Couto Guzmán, was at the Nguyen Van Troi Stadium watching a match of the national baseball league. Suddenly, he was approached by a State Security official Raul Areas who asked Couto what he was doing there and told him: “Look, I am here with two more friends, don’t be a fool, I can beat you up right away.” The victim started to shout around who the official really was and what he was about to do. The official then left him and sat down four rows further from him, accompanied by two more persons the victim did not know.
