The victim Alicia Dominguez Lores was on her way to the house of the Lady in White, Celina Osoria, in order to attend together for the Mass which was held to support the campaign "Freedom for José Daniel Ferrer" and all the political prisoners in Cuba. She was detained on 5 Sur and Los Maceos streets by State Security official Major Kevin. Dominguez was hand-cuffed, put in the patrol car no. 631 and driven to the police unit known as Parque 24, There she was threatened and warned against her further involvement in the movement. She was detained for 6 hours and then released.
