Guantánamo citizen threatened by the police and detained for 10 hours in a prison cell



On 16 January 2019 at 9 am, Alain González Jiménez was summoned by the sector chief Lieutenant Rogelio Velázquez Matos to the police unit called Parque 24. There he was threatened for not having a job, organizing meetings with youth from his quarter and speaking up about topics such as a project of the new constitution. The official told him that he could prosecute him for dangerousness if he continued with the same activities. Alain was released on the same day, after having spent 10 hours in a prison cell.
