On Saturday 8 June, human rights activist Agustín González González arrived at the police station in Pinar del Río as he was summoned by Captain Otoniel at his home the previous day. The interrogation was led by Captain Otoniel and officer Yoel and was mainly concentrated on threatening González for his activities as a human rights defender and a member of the Trade Union of Self-employed Workers. He was told that the game is over as he was doing what he liked. The officers added that he was involved in a specific business which could end in any moment. Additionally, he could end up in a prison as other regime opponents in the province. According to the officials, even if the country is now undergoing a crisis, it does not mean that they stopped monitoring his counter-revolutionary activities. He was released two and half hours later.
