Imprisoned activist in Guantánamo Prison threatened and harassed by the officials

Jorge Agramonte López, an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), is serving his sentence in the Prison of Guantánamo. On that day, he was taken to an office in the prison in order to be threatened with an increase of his sentence. The reason was that Jorge was sending out information from the prison. "You will end up without visits and you will be accused for that. José Daniel Ferrer (Founder of the UNPACU) is a deliquent who is just misusing you," said Major Rubén, the State Security chief in the prison. Jorge then said that he had not committed any crime and he expected any kind of misbehaviour from the communists. When he returned to his cell, his personal belongings were scattered on the floor as the officials searched it without his consent, looking for an alleged enemy propaganda.
