UNPACU activist intimidated by police in Guantánamo

In the morning, 26 September, 2020, Miguel Ángel López Herrera was summoned to the police station in the zone of Isleta where he lives. There he was received by a police chief who informed that he was under surveillance as he was considered as a potential criminal. According to the official, since that moment, Miguel Ángel's life will change and he will personally take care of it, summoning him to the police station anytime when necessary. Moreover, he told him that he is obliged to cooperate with them which Miguel Ángel sharply refused by saying that he is not a traitor. When the official saw his attitude, he said: "Well, then I have to tell you that you will be put in jail again." After that, he started telling him that he was prohibited from visiting other counter-revolutionaries at home, from attending their meetings and if he did so, he would have to inform the police. Eventually, the official said: "Do not forget that your house is carefully watched."
