A house of a human rights activist in Holguín was assaulted



On 28 September, 2020, the house of Ana Iris Miranda Leiva, an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU) in Holguín, was attacked and stoned. The action was carried out by the State Security, police and their collaborators with the intention of intimidating her for being a human rights activist. The officials did not care that the had been children and elderly people in the house during the attack.
