On September 27, 2020, José Cañete Sosa, an independent press opponent inAntilla, was summoned and threatened by state security. Mayor Henrry Borrego Peña intimidated the journalist in order to give up illegal press activities, since Cañete does not belong to any authorized government media in Cuba.
