Arbitrary detention and confiscation of a personal computer

On Saturday, January 27, Independent Attorney Rigoberto Gonzalez Vigoa, Director of the Legal Counsel and Civic Instruction, was arbitrarily detained by officers of the State Security. He was taken to the basement of the Unit, where he was threatened. They showed him a search record of his house and forced him to turn over his computer. The detention using threats and cruel and inhumane treatment lasted two hours. Afterward, he was released with the warning that his fate would be to go to prison and that by order of the Directorate of the country's Legal Department and Civic Instruction had to disappear.
