The director of the newsletter Cocodrilo Callejero was detained for distributing it



The director of the newsletter Cocodrilo Callejero Martha Liset traveled in a bus to the city of Colón. When the bus stopped, Martha Liset along with her husband Alberto began to distribute the bulletins among Cubans. After a few minutes, she was detained by an operative led by the State Security organs and the police. She and her husband were transferred in the patrol car 208 to the police unit No. 004 in Colón. In the car, she managed to send a message to her friends about the detention, but she was discovered and they snatched her phone. At the station, she was interrogated by State Security Agent Alexander Herrera Hernandez and an officer of the provincial delegation of the Ministry of the Interior. She was threatened with imprisonment for printing and distributing clandestine pamphlets and 200 copies were confiscated. She was detained for 3 hours.
