Lack of medical care and hospital resources cause deaths in Cuba.

William Tamayo lost both parents due to lack of medical attention. The day William's mother, Fermina Tamayo, passed away, she presented severe abdominal pain and difficulty breathing, she was taken to the hospital and was not treated properly. She was informed that they could not provide oxygenation because the hospital did not have it, nor could they perform an ultrasound because they did not have the necessary gel. One month later, in August 2022, William's father passed away. In his case, the patient had been sick for a long time, so William went to the hospital to request that a doctor come to see him, the doctor asked for an ambulance to go to the patient's house, but the ambulance took a long time to arrive. By the time the victim was taken to the hospital, he had already passed away.
