State Security along with PNR carries out a house search in the house of Baracoa activist

On 2 December 2020, an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), Roberto Quiñones Guzmán, was detained in the joint operation of the State Security and the National Revolutionary Police (PNR). This operation took place based on a complain of the head of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR), Odalis Jiménez Sánchez and Roger Durán. While the officials were searching the house, the activist was driven to the PNR station where he was kept for more than three hours until the house search was over. The officials confiscated various personal objects of the activist and fined him 200 pesos moneda nacional. The activist was also threatened with imprisonment if he continued to create disturbance and public disorder.
