On January 29, Nelson Rafael Rodríguez Pairol received a summons to appear before Major Gilberto Pérez Fonseca for an interview. The following day, he went to the place where they called him and they asked the relatives that accompanied him to leave. Later, they received a call communicating that he was fine and that he was being detained and his case was being discussed as the citation had not been carried out with the proper formalities established by law. He was released on January 31 after being questioned about his participation in Scholarship for the "Program of participation of social leaders" that took place in Washington D.C, USA.
