In the early morning hours, human rights activist, Alexander Chacón Lamoth, was on his way to the UNPACU headquarters in the Guantánamo province to participate in a workshop about human rights. On the Jamaica highway, he was intercepted by the leader of the State Security, known as Bryan, and two policemen. He was taken in a patrol car #600 to the detention unit known as Parque 24. There, he was interrogated by Bryan, who threatened to take him to prison for participating in counterrevolutionary activities and distributing fliers in the neighborhood. He was released the same day at 5 pm.
