Citizen left homeless due to links with activists

Katia Valdes Roig is a young woman with heart disease. She and her children live in poor conditions. Katia has asked for help from the Ministery of Social Welfare and from the government, in order to legalize their home, acquire a subsidy, and be able to fix their house, which has a dirt floor and when it rains it gets wet in many areas. Katia manifests that her situation is known by all of the state departments of her municipality, but nobody has wanted to help. Last year, she was linked to human rights activisits and because of health problems she was disengaged. Many officials say that these links, "do not help her situation".
