Human rights activist Juan Alberto de la Nuez Ramírez was in the park in the quarter he lives in when he was detained by police. Then he was put in a patrol jeep and driven to the police station in Aguada de Pasajeros. During his detention at the police unit, he was informed that he will not be allowed to vote in the constitutional referendum. He was released at 11:45 am.
