Human rights defender summoned to the police station and threatened

Yeider was summoned to the police station in the municipality of Caimanera at 1:30 pm. When he arrived, he was interrogated by Major Yoanny Lafita who is a head of the State Security (DSE) in Caimanera and Captain known as Edwin Jefferson or Kevin, also a head of DSE in Guantánamo. These two oficials told him that if he kept holding illegal meetings and taking pictures of the project of the new constitution which was supposed to be out in two days, he would be beaten up and put in jail. The police issued an official warning which Yeider refused to sign. He left the police station at about 2 pm, without any further consequences.
