Woman fined for criticizing Cuban health care system



Irene Díaz González was fined 300 pesos by Sector Chief Lieutenant Olimpio for alleged public disorder. Irene´s mother lost her legs due to chronic diabetes and she is in a wheelchair. It was agreed that medical personal from the relevant area would visit her regularly. It has been two months she was last visited and Irene decided to take an action and made a complaint to the State Authorities. Instead of getting an answer, she was fined for criticizing the Cuban health care system.
