From the very early morning on Wednesday, 14 June, 2020, a house of the former political prisoner Félix Navrro Rodríguez was under surveillance. Secret police officials parked their patrol car approximately 50 metres from the house. When Navarro Rodríguez left his house in order to accompany an activist Armando Abascal who was visiting him, the officials with their patrol car no. 307 stopped him. One of the law enforcement officers, Wilfredo Ángel Meneses, told him: " You cannot leave your house". They had an argument and Ángel Meneses then took Félix Navarro into the vehicle. Inside, there was another secret police official known as Yuniel. Félix Navarro was then driven to the police station in Perico where he was left in the lobby. Later on, he was informed he was released. However, before leaving, Navarro wanted to get an explanation what was the reason for the arbitrary detention. Víctor Ramiro Rodríguez Álvarez, another secret police official involved in the action, told him that the goal was to prevent him from participating in a meeting of Colegio de Pedagogos in Los Arabos. After that, he was released.
