Woman was detained for talking with a Lady in White after the Mass

Maribel Telemaco García was detained by State Security official Major Daniel, when she was leaving the Church of Saint Catalina de Ricci. Telemaco García attended Mass and after that she talked with one of the Ladies in White members. She was driven to the police unit known as Parque 24. During the detention, she was threatened that if she talked again with somebody from the Ladies in White, she would no more allowed to go to church and would be subjected to an act of repudiation in her quarter. She was kept under detention for nine hours. Before being released, she was given a written warning.
