Yeris Curvélo Aguilera, an activist from the Eastern Democratic Alliance (ADO), was summoned before the State Security official (DSE) known as Montalvo to the police unit in Caimanera for 9:30 am. At the unit, the mentioned DSE official, along with an inspector from the Ministry of Communications, fined him 3000 pesos based on the Decree 370. This happened after publishing a video in the Cubanet News. The video featured a citizen, Bárbaro Mozo Palomo, who protested in front of the police station in Caimanera for having been fined 2000 pesos, according to him arbitrarily and unjustly. On the top of this fine, Yeris has been already fined twice, each time with 3000 pesos, based on the same Decree 370. Moreover, on 11 March, Yeris had received a threat in the same police station that he would be fined again, using the same decree, and put in prison.
