State Agents Forbid Activist to Leave Home

On January 6th at around 7:30 a.m., an agent of the Department of State Security (DSE) known as Arturo went to the home of Cuba Revolution Movement (MCR) activist Demis Valdés Sarduy, who was not home at the time. Because Demis Valdés Sarduy was not present, Arturo informed him that he was forbidden to leave his house through his wife Yanela Sánchez Manso. On January 8th, at around 4 p.m., the same officer and another state agent made a threatening presence around his home.
