Armando was in the visiting room of the Aguica prison, where he was accompanying Mrs. Zoila, the mother of the prisoner Pedro Antonio Perera. When Zoila entered to the meeting room, a Political Police officer appeared. Initially, he took Armando to an office located inside the penitentiary; he kept him there around two hours. About half past twelve, Armando was placed in a patrol car and driven to the Colon Police Station. They took him to an officer who seized his mobile phone. Then they placed him in another office where the official of the Political Police was. Before being released, they imposed a fine of $150.00 CUP (€ 4.60) because "he could not be in the penitentiary establishments."
