On Wednesday, 3 October, an independent trade union activist Mateo Moreno Ramón travelled to the city of Pinar del Río in order to meet several freelancers living there. When he arrived to the terminal building, four secret police officers had been already wating for him. He was detained and taken to a police unit located in the bus terminal. During the interrogation, he was told that he will not be allowed to meet the freelancers. At 6:30 am, they sent him back by bus to Havana.
