Woman from Guantánamo detained when heading to Mass with the Ladies in White

Patricia Lugo Sevila was detained while heading, together with the Ladies in White, to the Sunday Mass in order to pray for the health of an activist and a Lady in White, Xiomara Cruz, who is now suffering serious health problems. When Patricia was on her way, she was stopped by the State Security official Major Kevin and public order police. When she saw the injustice being committed, she started screaming slogans against the government. After that, she was sharply handcuffed which caused her injury on her hands. She was put in the patrol car no. 607 and driven to the police unit known as Parque 24. There she was warned and threatened to be prosecuted if she continued with the same activity.
