UNPACU activist detained in his house



On 6 November 2018, several secret police officers appeared in José Gongora Potrille's house. José is a member of the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU) and the officers, namely Captain Alfredo Oliveros, Major Antonio Rodríguez, Lieutenant Neuri Duran Pajan and officer Gianni Clape Rodríguez and their collaborators Francisco Sanamé and Sonia Duran Quintero, were bringing a detention order. After having showed him the official document, José was driven to the police station where he has kept and interrogated for six hours. Then he was released in the afternoon with an official warning for alleged public disorder in the quarter he lives.
