Trade union activist prevented from travelling to Peru without being informed about the reason



On Wednesday, 7 November 2018, Nancy Alfaya Hernández, an activist from the Cuban Independent Trade Union Association (ASIC) was prevented from travelling to Peru where she was invited by the Center for the Opening and Development of Latin America (CADAL). When she arrived to the José Martí International Airport in Havana, Terminal 3, the migration officers informed her that she would not be able to travel that day.
