Daniel Ortiz detained for four days in a detention center



Daniel Ortiz was detained at the bus terminal by State Security official Major Kelvin and several police officers, when he was going back with his cousin from a municipality of Niceto Pérez where he had carried out a training on democracy. He was violently handcuffed, causing him injuries on his wrists. He was kept under detention for four days and before leaving, he was given a written warning. During the detention, he was threatened, that if he continued with his activities, he would be prosecuted for public disorder.
