Activist detained and threatened because of his participation in human rights seminar

On that day, human rights activist Ibraili Correa Betancourt was attending a training on peaceful promotion of human rights held in the UNPACU Headquarters in Hector Infante and conducted by the Secretary General, Raúl Martínez Caraballo. When he was on the way home, he was detained by State Security oficial named Arturo, Sector Chief Edi and two police officers. He was driven to the National Revolutionary Police in Manuel Tames and interrogated by Arturo. He was threatened with a fine if he continued attending the counterrevolutionary meetings. According to Arturo, if something happened in Cuba, all polittical opponents with their families would be put in jail, and that's why they should be aware of what they are doing, because Raúl will not get them out from the prison. He was released the same day at 6 pm.
