Prisoner makes denunciations of human rights violations through telephone calls and is sanctioned for 2 months

Julio César, UNPACU activist, is being held in the maximum security prison Kilo 8. On February 28, he was called to the Internal Order office by the Second Chief of the Prison. He told him that he would be sanctioned with a two-month suspension of telephone calls for having made unauthorized calls, by which the official meant calls in which he denounced human rights violations with opposition members Ovidio Martín Castellanos, Zaqueo Vázquez and Juan Carlos.
