Human rights activist from Banes intimidated by State Security in his house

Esber Rafael Ramírez Argota, a human rights defender and a member of the organization Independent and Democratic Cuba (CID), was detained by police at his house. The detention took place based on the order of the State Security official, Major Henry Borrero Peña. The official confiscated him a camera in order to prevent him from doing journalism. Ramírez Argota has been already very active in defending people's rights and he has been persecuted for that by police and local authorities in the municipality of Antilla.
