Human rights activist detained during the meeting of his organization

On 13 November 2020, a human rights activist and a member of the organization Independent and Democratic Cuba (CID), Braulio Hastie Castañee, was at the house of his colleague, Esber Rafael, participating in an event carried out by his organization. Suddenly, the police and the State Security broke in and confiscated them their cameras and all the equipment they worked with. After that, Braulio was taken to the police station in the municipality of Antilla. From there, he was released at 12 pm.
