On the night of November 14, the minor was returning home with two friends after enjoying the internet at the park's WiFi point. Crossing the Central Street and Trista, two men began to verbally offend him, to which the minor replied that he was not looking for any problem. One of the men approached threateningly with a knife. The minor struggled trying to take the knife from him and then threw two stones at him. The man, accompanied by other individuals carrying knives, approached the minor from behind and attacked causing him a lumbar injury. The minor, while trying to defend himself, suffered another serious injury to his left hand that severed the tendons of the fourth and fifth fingers.
The guard patrol picked him up and took him to the Nazareno Polyclinic, which was the closest one, where he was not treated as they did not have an emergency service. The minor was then transferred to the 20th Anniversary Polyclinic and later to the Provincial Pediatric Hospital.
