Activist from the Eastern Democratic Alliance threatened at his house by the State Security

On 23 September 2019, the police chief in Banes, who is at the same time the State Security deputy chief in the municipality, official Olme, appeared in the house of activist Leonardo Ramón Viamonte Marrero. The offcial started to insult him, accusing him of being a counterrevolutionary and threatened him with imprisonment if he continued meeting up with Alexander Rodríguez. Leonardo replied that he would keep meeting that person and that he was not a counterrevolutionary. On the contrary, according to Leonardo, it was them who destroyed Cuba. This happened at 3 pm and ended at 3:30 pm on the same day.
