Maite is accused of contempt for complaining about the poor conditions of the building next to her house

Until 2010, the neighbor building of the house of Maite Veraz served as a school, but given that during the previous years the school was only receiving superficial repairs and any major repair, students had to be relocated to other schools far away and the school began to decay. The building is damp, full of mosquitoes and plants that cause the walls and the roof to collapse. There have been accidents with people who passed nearby. To make it worse, a trash company has been established close to the building, so the place is now the breeding ground of infection and rodents. Maite tried to complain at all levels of institutions of Government, Party and Education in order to improve the horrible conditions, but she did not obtain any help or any response. Due to these complaints, Maite is accused for the crime of contempt, and is waiting for the trial in custody. They have asked the court for the sentence of 3 years of imprisonment.
