Activist was detained and taken to the Combinado del Este Prison in Guantánamo



At 11.30 am, Henry Couto Guzmán, an activist from Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU), was detained on his way home and driven to the police station in Guantánamo. According to the witnesses, the detention was carried out violently. Next day, secret police searched Henry´s house and confiscated his phone, passport and other documents. There was only Henry´s ill mother in the house. On September 17, Henry was driven to the Combinado del Este Prison in Guantánamo. He was released one day later.
