Sissi Abascal Zamora and her mother Annia were waiting at a park in the village Carlos Rojas for a transport that takes them at least to the city Jovellanos. At 7:15 am the "Captain Felix Bernia" approached them and told them they have to go with him. Sissi took the phone of her mother in order to inform Felix Navarro, president of the Partido por la Democracia "Pedro Luis Boitel", about their detention. "Captain Felix" ordered her to end up the call, if not, he would take the phone. They were driven to the police office, where the "Captain Felix" explained that the reason of the detention was to prevent them from going to Havana.
A group of 5 activists of the Partido por la Democracía Pedro Luis Boitel arrived in front of the station to complain about the detention. At 10:00 am Sissi and Annie were released with a warning: "Do not try to do it again because the police is everywhere and they will not let you go."
