The house of Guantánamo activist and a member of the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), Miguel Angel López Herrera, was under surveillance to prevent him from having meetings in his home. The surveillance occurred despite him not participating in the hunger strike that dozens of UNPACU's member started on March 27 to protest against the police cordon settled around UNPACU's headquarters sin mid-March 2021.
