On March 29, 2022, the prisoner suffered an ischemic stroke and had to be admitted to the hospital in order to receive the necessary medical attention. However, the prison authorities keep him in the penitentiary center without receiving medical assistance. Likewise, he does not receive the specific diet prescribed by the doctor, as he suffers from hypertension. He spends days without eating and even, on some occasions, is unable to bathe due to his poor physical condition. It should be noted that they refused to provide him with a walker that would have made it easier for him to walk, even though there is one inside the prison.
