Manuel de Jesus detained to be prevented from attending Mass

Manuel de Jesus Albeal Odelin, was heading at 6 in the morning to the Santuario del Cobre in the province of Santiago de Cuba, to attend Sunday Mass which was being conducted to demand the release f political prisoners and the end of political repression. He was arrested by the officer of the State Security Gilberto Cata in the patrol car 606. He took Manuel de Jesus to the El Salvador police unit, where he was threaten with going to prison and then, around 11 a.m., released.
