Activist from Guantánamo detained by State Security when going to Mass

Bartolo Cantillo Romero is a collaborator of the Ladies in White. At 5:30 am, on 6 August 2017, he was heading to the Santa Catalina de Ricci Church in Guantánamo where he was going to attend Sunday Mass. When he was passing through the Los Maceos and El 3 Sur Streets, he was intercepted by a State Security official known as Sergio. He detained Bartolo and drove him to the Operations Unit. From there, he was released at 10 am on the same day.
