Activist summoned to the police station in Guantánamo and threatened

Rauvelis López went to the police station known as Parque 24 in Guantánamo where he was summoned. He was received at 10:30 am by State Security offical Raúl who told him that he is the one responsible for his case. López did not know which case and Raúl replied that they knew that he had been recruited for counter-revolutionary activities by Henry Couto and he was visiting him at home, receiving information and propaganda. The victim said that Couto was his friend and learning about human rights is not a crime. Raúl replied that in that case he was responsible for what happened to Couto when he was beaten up by several deliquents on the street. López told him that all Cuba knows that it was the State Security based on Raúl's orders who did it. The State Security official replied to López: "You will see how I make you swallow your words with blood, watch your back."
