Human rights activist prevented from travelling to Argentina

On Monday, 13 January 2020 in the afternoon hours, Annia Zamora Carmenate, an activist from the Party for Democracy Pedro Luis Boitel Abraham, was prevented from boarding a flight heading to Argentina. The migration officer on duty at the Terminal 3, José Martí International Airport in Havana, told her that her travel status was regulated, so she cannot travel. Zamora Carmenate had been invited to Argentina by the organization Center for the Opening and Development of Latin America (CADAL).
