Ms. Nory Salazar Suárez was summoned to the municipal council on 13th March because of her housing case. The citizen is the mother of two minor children and currently lives where there was a garbage dump. She cleaned the place and built a small house, for which she has been fined more than twice with fines of more than $1,000 and $1,500 Cuban pesos (€32 and €48). She was attended by Mr. Rolando, who was in charge of housing problems in the municipality, who humiliated her and threatened that she would go to prison because they had other plans with that land and that she would not interfere in their plans. At that meeting, Ms. Salazar suffered a brain attack and lost some of her basic functions. She is currently undergoing medical treatment because part of her body was paralyzed.
