Yanier Joubert Cisneros was subjected to a trial in the Municipal Popular Tribunal of Guantánamo. The reason was a "non-compliance" with his obligations since he did not pay fines. According to Yanier, the fines were arbitrary and there were no proofs, because he had not commit anything. He was sentenced to three years in prison, starting immediately after the trial. Normally, there is a clear procedure on how to proceed and when the sentence in prison should start. However, in Yanier's case there was nothing like this.
