Woman detained and handcuffed for protesting against a bad quality of food



Alina Rodríguez Guzmán was detained by the Police Chief, Second Lieutenant Olimpo, when she was protesting against a bad quality of food of basic basket. The State Security officer, First Lieutenant Ranger Jiménez, joined Olimpo when detaining Alina. He applied an immobilization technique to hadcuff her, causing her injuries on her wrists. Alina was driven to the police station known as Parque 24. She was threatened that if she continued protesting, they would sanction her. She was released 7 hours later.
